Apology For Unintentional Snub

For five years I attended a CEO roundtable, where leaders of non-competing companies served as a board of advisors for each other. Naturally, we became good friends. I saw a fellow-CEO on the street, and failed to acknowledge her. Afterwards, I felt she deserved an explanation and an apology.

Robby,

I apologize for not stopping to chat a bit when I saw you Saturday. I had just learned that a good friend's mother had died, and was in a state of shock. This was a lady I'd known well who was essentially a second mother to me.

I did have a good Christmas. My is visiting from L.A., and my dad joined us for Christmas dinner.

To answer your question: yes, I'm taking a few days off here and there. This week will be slow—a good time to organize and get ready for 20—.

I'm looking forward to seeing you January 6th at the next CEO roundtable. Have a great week this week,

:B
