Opening Door For Client

I give my time generously to corporate clients—past, present, and future—and it always pays off. If not now, certainly later.

In this case, a woman attending my TOP-12 leadership group for human resources executives wanted an introduction to an arms-length friend. Landon wasn't someone I knew intimately, or I'd have called him. This is the note that paved the way for their meeting.

Landon,

If you'll remember, we met several times at Careerlab regarding the "Career Management Center," and other technology concepts. Roydon Carr introduced us. We created an online software called the "Executive Portfolio,"™ which we sell off our website, and licensed to Syster Europe, the world's largest career management company.

I have a friend you would enjoy meeting—and she would enjoy meeting you.

Sharon Brown-Herndon is a strategic HR executive with 20 years' experience in high-growth, rapid change, start-up business environments. She has been an active participant in TOP-12, a group of chief human resources officers from Colorado's largest companies, representing 150,000 employees. When I say "active participant," I mean Sharon really stands out as bright, creative, knowledgeable, and quick on her feet—a leader in her group of peers.

Until recently, Sharon has been VP of HR for Basign Technology Partners (in Westminster), a late stage, high-growth start-up in the business process management (BPM) software niche. I don't know the details, but I believe Sharon left in a downsizing. She's in the job market, but will not hit you up for a job. At my suggestion, she'd just like to meet you to learn what you do, and to share enthusiasms.

This would be fun for both of you. May I have her call you?

Thanks,

:B
