We hosted the ExecuNet forum for nearly four years. ExecuNet was a monthly breakfast for $100,000+ executives, featuring a well-known speaker on a timely career topic, followed by structured networking. Our meetings generally attracted 50-60 executives. It was fun, and it generated a few referrals and paid for itself, but it was a lot of work and did not result in company-paid consulting. When I left, I tried to find my replacement, but failed.

Clayton, As you know, we've hosted ExecuNet in Denver since September, 20—, nearly four years. During that time, about 1620 attendees have passed through out meetings. They've been fun and successful. I'm writing to let you know that August 11 will be our last program for ExecuNet.
My consulting practice is demanding my full attention, and I no longer have the resources to do your programs justice. Rather than see them deteriorate, I'd like you to pass them on to someone who can drive them forward. I contacted Lance Brumit, President of Brumit Partners (a career development boutique), and Julio Overland, head of SKL in Denver to see if they were interested in hosting, and they were not. Perhaps you have some prospects in mind.
