Thank You To Deli Or Restaurant

We have a small deli in our office building, and I eat there often. The prices are inexpensive and the food consistently wonderful. It looks like a tedious job preparing simple fare for the same faces day after day. So I thought a thank you gift might be appropriate. I wrote this note and included a Barnes & Noble gift card.

The next day I noticed my note posted prominently on the deli wall. I told the owner, Marius, "This should be framed." I purshased a small ready-made frame and re-hung the note on the wall. He says everyone comments on it, and others in the building have recognized me for it. In the meantime, my sandwiches are a little thicker and my salads a little deeper.

Marius,
Thank you for being here on cold snowy days during blizzards, and on hot 100-degree summer days. Your cooking is superb and I'm grateful for the nourishment to body and soul that you provide. (Plus a few laughs from time to time.)
Your friend,
Bill Frank
